NBA Aspirations

A week or two ago, while surfing Twitter, I came across a tweet claiming that "anyone could declare for the NBA draft." I quickly googled what is needed to declare. I sent my letter of interest to the NBA, as needed. From there, according to ehow.com, I was going to receive a letter with an draft eligibility form to send back in, and I'd be eligible for the 2015 draft. Today, I got my response letter that was to contain that form. It seems I am a little to early to declare as of now, but this just shows my eagerness to play (Cavs, you could use me along side Lebron--after all, we have history).

Movie Opportunity

A few days ago, I received an email from the assistant dean of Miami University's Luxembourg campus. The email contained an opportunity to potentially play the role of a post-WWII American Soldier in a movie being shot in Luxembourg this fall. Seeing this as a potential way for me to cross "being an extra in a movie" off my bucket list, I quickly emailed the casting director showing my interest. In August. I will find out whether I will be needed for the film. This is just another example of how opportunity constantly knocks for the door of college students.
